Windows 10 has apparently introduced this new feature, but I use Windows 7 at work which is where I need the delay capability. The option of a delay is very useful if you need to capture menus or tooltips. You can no longer interact with your applications. ![]() When you click New, selection mode is activatedstraight away. One downside of the tool for my simple needs is that there is no delay option. Time moved on, Microsoft Windows moved forward, very slowly, and Microsoft introduced the Snipping tool. There was no equivalent tool included in Microsoft Windows. ![]() Many years ago (around 15, I think) when doing documentation that required screen shots including menus I used to take advantage of a feature in Paint Shop Pro (PSP) that provided a very flexible screen capture tool.
